Creativity courses through my veins
like a runaway sleigh calling me to take its reins
Running as fast as I can to catch it
It comes and goes like a freight train
If I fail to take hold,
it’s gone so fast
Like a bullet looking for a victim
It speeds right pastOn to the next target
It strikes at last
Making a home in the soul of it’s prey
Dancing in their minds
Like a perfect ballet
Seeking to be expressed out in the world
It won’t be held in for another day
Whether I seize and allow it
Doesn’t matter at all
It simply won’t quit
It goes on to another
Seeking acceptance someone to permit
It’s admittance to being
To allow it’s birth
The opportunity is fleeting
Don’t fail to seize it
It will make it’s way to this Earth
